Takedown and Content Removal Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Brimstone Report is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of content creators, publishers, and individuals. This page outlines our policies and procedures for requesting the removal of content from the Site.
About Our Content
Brimstone Report is a news aggregation platform. We display headlines sourced from third-party publishers and link directly to the original articles on their websites. We do not host, reproduce, or republish the full text of any third-party article. If your concern relates to the content of an article itself (rather than its appearance on our platform), we recommend contacting the original publisher directly.
Grounds for Removal
We will consider content removal requests based on the following grounds:
- Copyright infringement: If you believe that content displayed on our Site infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or equivalent applicable law.
- Trademark violations: If you believe your trademark is being used in a way that causes confusion or misrepresentation on our platform.
- Defamation or privacy concerns: If a headline or link on our Site relates to content that has been retracted, legally ordered to be removed, or that contains private information published without consent.
- Broken or misdirected links: If a link on our Site leads to incorrect, removed, or harmful content.
- Publisher opt-out: If you are a publisher and wish to have your content excluded from our aggregation feed, we will honor your request.

Processing Timeline
We aim to acknowledge all takedown requests within 48 hours of receipt. Legitimate requests will be processed promptly, typically within 5 business days. Complex or legally nuanced requests may require additional time for review. We will keep you informed of the status of your request throughout the process.
Counter-Notification
If content you submitted or are associated with has been removed in response to a takedown request and you believe the removal was made in error, you may submit a counter-notification to takedown@brimstonereport.com. Your counter-notification should include: identification of the removed content and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed by mistake, your name and contact information, and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with applicable law, Brimstone Report maintains a policy of terminating access for repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Sources that repeatedly publish content resulting in valid takedown requests may be removed from our aggregation feed.
