About Brimstone Report
What We Are
Brimstone Report is a curated news destination for readers who want the story behind the headline before deciding where to go next. We scan, collect, summarize, and contextualize developing coverage from a wide spectrum of credited publishers.
We are not a traditional newsroom. Brimstone Report does not produce original reporting, conduct interviews, or present syndicated briefs as first-hand reporting. Instead, each Brimstone article page provides a curated summary, expanded context, why-it-matters explanation, key facts, source attribution, and related Brimstone stories before linking readers to the original publisher.
How It Works
Our platform operates through an automated ingestion pipeline that continuously monitors RSS feeds, news APIs, and publisher sitemaps from hundreds of sources. When a new story is detected, it enters our processing system, which performs several key functions:
- Automated ingestion: Stories from 200+ sources are collected in real time, ensuring comprehensive coverage across the media landscape.
- Heat scoring: Each headline is assigned a heat score based on factors such as recency, source authority, story velocity, and topic intensity. Stories that are developing rapidly or generating significant coverage rise to the top.
- Multi-source clustering: When multiple outlets cover the same event, our system groups those stories together so readers can compare coverage and access different angles on the same developing situation.
- Section classification: Headlines are automatically categorized into topic sections so readers can quickly navigate to the subjects they care about most.
- Owned article pages: Each selected story receives a stable Brimstone URL with canonical metadata, image previews, source attribution, and related coverage.
- Breaking detection: Stories exhibiting rapid cross-source pickup and high urgency are flagged as breaking news and surfaced prominently via the ticker and hero placement.
The result is a continuously updated stream of article pages that reflects what is happening right now, organized by topic, scored by significance, and transparently attributed to original sources.

Editorial Philosophy
Brimstone Report is built on the principle that readers are best served when they have access to a broad range of sources and can evaluate the news for themselves. We aggregate headlines from publishers across the political and editorial spectrum, including major wire services, legacy newspapers, cable news outlets, digital-native publications, investigative organizations, and independent media.
We do not claim original reporting for aggregated stories. Brimstone headlines, summaries, and explainers are editorial packaging around attributed third-party reports. Readers can compare how different outlets cover the same story and draw their own conclusions. Our role is to curate, explain, organize, and attribute; the reporting belongs to the original publishers.
We believe that a well-informed public depends on access to diverse viewpoints, and we are committed to maintaining a platform where stories from all credible sources can be discovered on equal footing.
